Socialite™ Stripestar Stromanthe sanguinea
Here’s a stylish, charismatic member of the prayer plant family–Socialite ‘Stripestar’. Although it looks similar to a Calathea, and thrives in the same bright, indirect light & high humidity as a Calathea, ‘Stripestar’ is actually a Stromanthe. It features elongated, glossy green leaves, with reddish-purple undersides, that unfurl to display a prominent white midrib or stripe down the center. At night, or in low light, ‘Stripestar’s’ leaves will fold up as in prayer.
During the winter months, all leafjoy® houseplants will ship as the weather permits.
